This is a brilliant piece of kit, have to oil it every 10 minutes, and the cable could be a bit longer but I love it.

Bought one of these last week as I want to cut down some 10 year old leylandi in the garden ++ a whole lot of overdue pruning. I am in complete admiration for this product.. the phrase " cuts like butter " is not out of place. It fastens on to the branches and effortlessly cuts through them. It's a very compact tool and completely safe and enclosed..I am going to have a great summer filling my " brown bin " every 2 weeks. Manual loppers and saws can be put aside -- this is all I need to get my garden back under control. Buy one !!! You will have fun...

MINE IS 600 WATTS. THE GREEN ONES ARE 550 WATTS. I BOUGHT THIS AFTER READING REVIEWS TO CUT OVERGROWN HEDGES FROM 10 - 12 FEET DOWN TO 3 FEET AND WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. THIN LEAFY STUFF CAN CLOG THE JAWS AND ALSO IMPEDE ACCESS TO THE THICKER TRUNKS SO SOME CLEARANCE WITH A NORMAL HEDGE TRIMMER MAY BE NECESSARY. AFTER THAT IT WAS LIKE FELLING A SERIES OF SMALL TREES - VERY QUICK AND EASY AND MUCH SAFER THAN MY CHAIN SAW WHICH WAS USELESS IN COMPARISON.
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS - HOLD THE TOOL STILL WHEN CUTTING OR YOU MAY PULL THE CHAIN OFF, KEEP THE CHAIN TIGHT AND OIL FREQUENTLY AND IT WILL SERVE YOU WELL.
