Great hedge trimmer, even on my mature beech hedge - battery lasts ages. No power cord to cut through, but watch your washing line - I cut our's down full of clothes!!

This cordless cutter is the first i have brought,I had an electric one and the lead was alwas getting in the way plus having to use a extention lead,with this its now problem and a great tool as well.Well worth the cash.Great bye

Bought after a Which? best buy recommendation, which is always a pretty reliable guide. Only used once so far, indeed the first time I've ever used a hedgetrimmer. And it was a doddle! I'm pleased I also bought a "Collecto" attachment, which helps to gather the cuttings from the top of the hedge. I was impressed by the battery life. I was able to cut the whole of my longish hedge without swapping batteries. Some of the cutting was intermittent (trimming bits here and there after one overall cut), so I can't be sure how long the hedgetrimmer was actually on for, but it seemed much longer than the expected 20 mins battery life.
